What is it ?

It is a graphical interface to pppd , allowing to configure connections to different Internet providers , to launch and stop and also view the state of these connections. Vppp also maintain the sum of all previous connection times

Vppp is very easy to use , it is a multilingual application ( SP, BR, RU, GB and FR provided for the moment !), with inline manual.

What does it use ?

Vppp is written in Tcl/Tk (v8.0 or better) with a C launcher program (for setuid bit reasons)
It is an interface to pppd and chat , so it is mandatory to install these softwares before.

Vppp has beeen tested on Linux RedHat, Mandrake and Suse, but it should work without problems on other platforms.

here is three executable distributions ( or source, it is the same thing with Tcl ! )

• vppp-3.7-1.i386.rpm RPM.
• install-vppp-3.7.tcl auto-install tcl script ( just execute being root).
• vppp-3.7.tgz Gzip Tar format for the others ( untar under / ).
