What is it ?

Easyfw is a graphical interface to ipchains or ipfwadm allowing to install a firewall with a few clicks !

A graphical interface , very easy to use , allowing to choose among some predefined configurations , or also to specify its own filtering rules. EasyFw is a multilingual application , with in line manual.

What does it use ?

EasyFw is written in Tcl/Tk version 8.x.
EasyFw is an interface to ipchains (kernel 2.2.x) or ipfwadm (kernel 2.0.x), thus you must have one of these installed , and also the linux kernel must be correctly configured.

EasyFw is tested on RedHat 5.x and 6.x , but it should work without problems on other distributions.

Here is two executable distributions ( or source, it is the same thing with Tcl ! )

• easyfw-2.2-0.noarch.rpm RPM format for Redhat.

• easyfw-2.2.tgz Gzip Tar format for the others ( untar under / ).
